My girlfriend’s mom won’t let us see each other, can things be fixed?
Background: I am 18, and I’m a freshman in college, and my half-filipino girlfriend is a year and a half younger than I am. We started going out last year in high school. to this day, we have been dating for about 8 months. in the beginning it was very hard to even hang out with my girlfriend, because her parents were so strict. But eventually i worked my way up to it and her parents absolutely loved me after a while. they almost considered me part of the family.
Background part 2: For both of us, this is our first boyfriend/girlfriend. I would consider us both abstinent. But my girl’s mom, who strongly believes in christian values and “abstinence until marriage” found out that my girlfriend had given me a ********. She went absolutely nuts, said “i have lost all faith in you” to her daughter and called her a slut, and thinks we both are no longer abstinent.
Problem: She no longer will let her daughter even see me. We still have a lot of feeling for each other, and do not want to break up at all. I live 5 1/2 hours away from her, so when i visit it is a huge treat. But now i can’t even see her. Sneaking around is almost impossible because her mom has a GPS tracker on my girlfriend’s phone. Is there anything i can do to apologize or make it go back how it used to be?
