How do you Program an Magellan RoadMate 1412 GPS?

I am planning a trip from California to New Mexico. I want to go through Las Vegas NV, up to St George UT, Page AZ, The 4 Corners, up to Cortez CO, then to Walsenburg CO and end up in Raton, NM. The manual is on the CD. I believe you can set via routes.
